I'm Cara Kinning, Personal Organizer and the owner of Organized for Life. I live in beautiful Bon Air, Virginia (right near Richmond), with my wonderful husband, Robert, and our pets - a dog and two cats. I'm not originally from Richmond, but I love this area, and it has truly become my home.

I love my work!

I've been organizing full-time now since July 2004, and it's the most satisfying work I've ever done. I love my clients, and I truly love making a real and positive difference in their homes and lives. It is wonderful to see them enjoying the sense of peace and control that being organized brings, and spending time again on the important things in their lives that have perhaps been neglected; like family, faith, and health. I bring compassion and understanding to my work, and am never judgmental.

I don't just come into your home and declutter and organize it. I'm known for teaching my clients how to take what we're doing together and extend it to other areas of their homes and lives. I give them the skills and methods they need to get organized and stay organized... for life!
